Frequently Asked Questions

General

What makes The Learning Space different from traditional schools?
We maintain a 3:1 student-to-teacher ratio — never more than three students — provide individualized learning plans for each child, and create a close-knit learning community where every student is seen, supported, and celebrated. Our approach prioritizes quality learning over rigid timelines — and real relationships over bureaucracy.
What age groups do you serve?
We serve students from Pre-K through 12th grade, with two dedicated classroom spaces — one for K–5 and one for 6–12. Our programs are designed to meet the unique needs of learners at every developmental stage.
How does the curriculum work?
Our lead teacher crafts personalized lesson plans for each student, covering core subjects alongside student-led projects that spark curiosity and engagement. We adapt teaching methods in real time to maximize each child's learning potential.

Enrollment & Visits

How can we visit The Learning Space?
We offer tours monthly. This is a great opportunity to see our learning environment firsthand and get a feel for whether our community is the right fit for your family. Email us to schedule.
What is your class size limit?
We maintain a strict 3:1 student-to-teacher ratio — never more than three students to a lead teacher. This ensures every child receives the individual attention they deserve, every single day.
How do I get started with enrollment?
The best first step is to attend a tour or reach out via email. We'll discuss your child's needs, answer your questions, and figure out together whether The Learning Space is the right fit.

Programs & Services

What is the difference between your micro school and tutoring programs?
Our micro school provides full-time individualized education in a small group setting, while our specialized tutoring offers 1:1 personalized instruction for specific subjects or skill areas. Both programs focus on each student's unique learning style.
Do you offer summer programs?
Yes! We offer summer camps with limited enrollment. Summer 2026 sessions are now open — sign up here to reserve your child's spot. These programs provide fun, educational experiences that keep learning alive during school breaks.
What additional services do you provide?
Beyond our core programs, we offer educational advocacy services (including IEP support and document review), parent workshops, and consultation for learning plan development.
